Our lives are filled with unknowns right now. The world is just crazy. Social media is swimming with people wishing 2020 would just be over. We are inundated with numbers. Over 2.7 million people infected with a disease. Thousands of people protesting for racial equality. Hundreds of law enforcement, first responders and medical individuals working long hours to help sustain our lives. Millions of people jobless and without income. We hear all of the numbers and we get anxious, scared and sometimes frustrated and angry. But let’s focus on something different this holiday weekend. The pledge of allegiance references only ONE.
I pledge of allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
One Flag. One Nation. One God. Undivided, undefeated, together as ONE. There is so much we can be thankful for, and we all have our own thoughts and opinions on how this country should be run. But instead of division, let’s become One Nation and rally together. So as we gather together this 4th of July, let’s remember the one-ness we have together in this great Nation. #forONEnation
